The issue is that you have attached an HP monitor to the Dell server, and the server doesnt like that.

just kidding :)

Since you are using the SUU via the lifecycle controller, you have encountered a situation that exists on all 11G systems. basically, if you try to use updates via the LifeCycle controller (LC) (any updates, not just SUU), it will fail if the idrac firmware is earlier than v1.85 AND the LifeCycle controller firmware is earlier than 1.5.2. The solution is to upgrade the idrac and LC firmwares to the latest version, but it must be done outside of the LC.

I recommend using Repository Manager to create a bootable iso, which will update everything in one shot. In the future, the LC will do it all with SUU or any other update packages.
