there is an issue where out of band updates can fail if the idrac fw is prior to v1.85 and the LifeCycle controller fw is prior to 1.5.2, but this should only affect idrac and LC update methods, not the SBUU method.

I have created a bootable iso for you, it was created with RM and is about 890MB, so you will need a DVD disc. I tested this on my R510 here before posting it.

NOTE: during execution, you will see some error messages at a few locations during the execution, those are all benign and can be ignored. This update will probably take at least an hour on your system due to the number of devices that have to be updated. Once the system has been updated to these new versions you should not have anymore issues with the updates.

The iso file will be at to http://dtxdropbox.dell.com

note: these are case sensitive!

the MD5 hash for this iso is 1aee5129113644f1d0eb5d80d704572c

I suggest getting a hash utility like the one I use to confirm the file was downloaded correctly.

here is the link to the hash tool www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/hash.html

if this still fails, I highly suggest contacting tech support as this is not a normal condition.
