You let nlite burn the new media to CD?What is the firmware version for your PERC (CTRL-R, CTRL MGMT, package version)?In CTRL-R, VD MGMT, is shows the RAID array and the status as online/optimal?

Firmware is up to date (drivers can be firmware-dependent).The PERC 5/i comes in two variations:  Adapter and Integrated.  While they are very nearly identical, they have slightly different firmware....

Yes, if you want to configure a RAID 1 on the controller, then enter its configuration utility (CTRL-R) and configure, what will probably be listed as, an Integrated Mirror (IM).

Perhaps.  I've found nlite to be many times more reliable than the floppy method, but at this point, it can't hurt to try it ... just in case something was going wrong creating the nlite...

No, it won't work.  The T310 requires ECC memory ... it can be Registered (RDIMM) or Unbuffered (UDIMM), but it must be ECC.

John, the T310 only supports up to a 1333MhZ dimm. I wouldn't suggest or recommend installing dimms that are not within the specs of the server.
