I have a PowerEdge R510 which had no iDRAC card installed. So I purchased a compatible iDRAC Enterprise unit and installed it, but when I boot, it says: "iDRAC6 Enterprise is unusable without iDRAC Express".
Now I am confused about this because I did the same thing with an R710 server that had no iDRAC, and I installed iDRAC enterprise card in the back of the server and it worked just fine and I can access the server and use it KVM style and all that.
On the current R510, I was able to access and configure an IP address in the BMC interface when hitting CTRL E, but was not able to access the iDRAC web interface at the configured IP address.
I don't really understand what I have to do to get this working. It doesn't make sense to install an iDRAC Express card because then I won't be able to use the iDRAC Enterprise card. This is confusing and makes no sense.
