Yes, but if you only need one or two updates, the SBUU method is HUGE overkill!
We need SIMPL.E instructions for doing these updates via USB. I cannot be that difficult to take the equivalent of the SBUU DVD and make it into a bootable USB format - it's appears to be just a basic Linux kernel. I have tried a few things, but so far have not gotten it functioning yet. Keep in mind: CD/DVD drives are DINOSAURS and will be going away; leaving only SDHC, USB and along those lines - which is, as it should be.
Plus, for the stuff I want to do, there is NO version of SBUU that is current - I am working with Server 2012 and need 2 updates, so that I can get to 2012. Instructions for Server 2012 via SBUU state choose "other O/S" or "2008 R2," so, clearly the SBUU us "not ready for prime time," as regards 2012. It makes me VERY nervous to choose "Other" or to choose a completely 'different' (2008 R2) operating system from the one I am installing.
Thanks.
