The M600s came from another project and all had a mezz card in "B" on the blade itself.

If that is the case then the blades likely have fabric B ethernet cards, and the embedded ethernet may have been disabled. Boot into the system BIOS and check integrated devices. Make sure the Integrated LOM is enabled.
