Try the 2008 drivers. Dell does not have video drivers for 2008R2, and I've found the video doesn't work as expected ... the 2008x64 driver works just fine. HOWEVER, that driver does not install in Server 2012, and the video is even worse there (completely shifted, which I just fixed with monitor settings, but resolution is still not as good as it could be), so hopefully it behaves differently for Windows 8, but I wouldn't count on it. I don't know that there are any other options. ATI does not have a suitable driver either (nothing newer than 2003/XP).
